Fern Orenstein has been casting for nearly two decades. Her past credits include OVER 55 television movies, series and miniseries. She helps oversee EVERYTHING including television movies series, miniseries, reality series, broadband channel and its original mobile content.
Fern is very blunt, doesn’t pull any punches, and will tell you EXACTLY what you need to do.
In this Intensive, Fern will share with you her experience and knowledge of the industry, including telling you how the casting process works at a large network. She will also evaluate your picture and tell you what roles you would be called in for.
You will perform scenes and receive valuable feedback and adjustments in helping you to improve and ultimately INCREASE you chances of booking those gigs!
Orenstein has is proud of her work with the Diversity Institute program designed to give minorities opportunities in front of and behind the camera.
Previously, Orenstein was partnered in Glicksman-Orenstein Casting, where, with partner Susan Glicksman was involved in the casting of more than 100 movies including "Too Young to Die," which featured Brad Pitt in his first starring role, "West Side Waltz" with Shirley MacLaine, Kathy Bates and Liza Minnelli, "Billy The Kid" with Val Kilmer and "The Truth About Jane" with Stockard Channing for Lifetime Television.
